Thanks, Amanda! This is a great community. I wish I'd known about it earlier! Looking forward to getting to know more writers here. :) Have a good day!
Thanks for the friend request Amanda...and the warm welcome. I joined the group...getting a feel for the place, polishing up the ms, will be submitting soon. Thanks again!
Glad my comments could help! I enjoyed the first pages. The whole mystery setting intrigued me...although maybe more context (is this a masquerade party? why has she never seen his face? what is he doing there? etc.) would probably ground readers more. Definitely an engaging beginning. Good luck!
Thanks for your note. I would be interested in a crit swap when you're ready. We can email our email addresses using the inbox here. The basement is dry now.
Cool. My email is ncobb001 at gmail dot com with. I'm currently working on a steampunk urban fantasy about a girl with amazing mechanical skill and her adventures with an eccentric but dangerous (and hot) mage. I'll probably be working on my contemporary story during NaNoWrimo, but if you want to swap pages I'd be happy to do so as well. (it might take me a while to send things out though, but I'm happy to read and critique what you have regardless)
Hey! What I usually do is this- I send the whole MSS in .doc format and then use the comment feature in MS Word for reviewing. If you want, you could send the whole MSS or send the first chapter and go from there.
I saw your post on Crit Seekers and I was hoping that I could assist you. I too read/write contemporary ya and fantasy (urban/paranormal/steampunk). If you want to swap pages, I'll be willing to help you out. You can leave a comment on my page or message me.

Hi Amanda, thanks for your reply. My question isn't something that I can present publicly. That's why I thought there might be email help.
Hi Amanda,
I've changed my mind about submitting this manuscript. I might try later in the year using another project.
Thanks anyway!
Ok, thanks again. Posted it & joined TierII, YAY:):)
Thanks, Amanda! I'm not used to these forums. How do I actually post my pitch for the slam? Am looking into TierII membership now . . .
