So the last couple of days, a new idea for a story has been trying to snuggle itself deep into my brain so that I give it more attention. And it's a good idea, based off my fear of the T-800s and T-600s. But how am I to get anything done with my novel if this other story persists? Oh, I've read some writing books that say to purge the idea onto paper and all that, and I have written down just a jot about the plot, and from that I actually have a title, but I really don't want to write anything on it. For one thing, the subject matter frightens me!! :-)

Anyway, I'll probably work on my Pentel novel at some point today and tomorrow. My MC and one of her brothers is about to confront their parents about a truth that was kept from them, and why it was kept. And Pentel is about to explode into a war that will ravage the entire land and make enemies out of friends, and vice versa. Can't wait to delve deeper into the plot with my characters.

Hi Linda! Thanks for your comment. Good luck with your Pentel novel! It's good if your robot idea scares you. Just keep it percolating at the back of your brain. With luck, it will combine with other ideas and start forming a plot - then by the time you finish your current book, you'll have a decent plotline for a new one! Even though I'm working on one now, I always have other ideas percolating. :-)
