YA eBooks? Next big thing, or...

Hey all,I've been chatting with YA writers/industry people about the future of YA eBooks. The general consensus seems to be that eBooks ARE the future, and that we're only one good cell phone app away from the trend exploding (since regular eReaders are too flipping expensive for most people to buy, let alone for a kid). I buy oodles of YA eBooks already. About Heather

Originally from sunny California, Heather now lives in the Land of Perpetual Cloud Cover and Mold—aka the Pacific Northwest—with her handsome husband, two autistic sons, and their ADHD kelprador, Oden.

When she isn’t plotting mayhem with the Army of Awesome, writing her senior thesis, or holding down her day gig as an Acquisitions Editor, you’ll probably find Heather on the couch with her 17″ fire-breathing Lap Monster and her iPod, giving voices to the characters that live inside her head.

Heather is an associate member of the FF&P and YA chapters of RWA, and writes in several genres: paranormal romance, dark, literary YA, and biopunk.

She is represented by the fabulous Becca Stumpf of Prospect Agency.

Thanks for your kind words about the blog post! I actually started out trying to do something serious on that topic but I just couldn't do it. My silliness got the better of me. :)

Cheers, Kristen
