Writing the first 250 words of a novel can be unsettling. Many doubts creep in when so much is on the line. I adjusted my opening of THE HOLLY KING considerably in order to interest a more…Continue

Hello Members of YAlitchat!
I am so delighted to be a part of this website community. My interests are raising naturally gaited Mountain Horses, swimming, gardening, cooking. I have always loved children's poetry, theater, and literature. I live in central Montana, where the prairie meets the low pine ridges and windswept buttes. Ghost Horse Prairie Ranch is home to fifteen extremely rare blue-eyed equines and some very pesky goats. They all enjoy munching sweet grass under hawk-filled skies. The YA Fantasy I am currently seeking an agent for is called TURN OF THE BLADE. The galloping tales unfold in the Appalachian woodlands one hundred years in the future. I really enjoy writing fantasy novels for Middle Grade and YA readers.

The Fairy Lore of Ghost Horse Hollow is an exploration of humankind's relationship to Nature ... past, present, and future. The characters understand the importance of environmental…
