Title: HURT
Day 20 – 2403 word count
Teaser: I thought I had been around violence and he was the silent type.
That meant he was more dangerous.
Day 21 – 1005 word count
Teaser: As I was going to argue he helped finish turning me around and
somehow his tongue was in my mouth. And I was inside of him.
Day 22 – 3003 word count
Teaser: Whooshing sound from above as a burlap
bag was tossed over my head. Like a sack of beans I was thrown into a moving, I
could only guess, a helicopter as we lifted from the ground.
Day 23 – 2250 word count
Teaser: I heard voices in my head. Time is running out
Day 24 – 441 word count
Teaser: He stopped, leaving with a single touch and said, as if he could
read my mind, "Touché Max, I see how you carry yourself." He wrapped
his arms around me and touched his arm where my cracked rib was.
Day 25 -2543 word count
Teaser: flickering yellow florescent lights from
above proudly showed their age as I careened around the aluminum chair, the
only warmth the four by eighth room cared to give away. He was much quicker and
slammed me to the marble black colored table.
Day 26 -3457 word count
Teaser: “The Mexican mafias have infiltrated into
the U.S. customs and in four days will ship goods out internationally from our
ports. It’s up to you Max, to stop them.”
You’ve got to be kidding me right?
Day 27 – 4259 word count
Teaser: I could have sworn for an awful second I saw accusation of betrayal in those grey eyes. He flung back his head and bayed
at the dissolution that unfolded.

Title: HURT
Day 28 – 4,587
Teaser: "Where's Zac? Question why are we here in the bookstore and not at the headquarters for debriefing? And where is Q?" I looked for my cell phone realizing I didn't have that.
Now that was something I did not want to see. I hoped they weren’t intimate especially when I still wanted to hurt him.
Day 29 – 3,276
Teaser: So Alayna, Santiago and I devised a plan to do so. With the cartel out of the way and the
FBI handling and tying up the loose ends we were pretty much free.
Day 30 – final 4,156
Teaser: “More?”
“Always” and I obliged with the sinking of my hands into his golden curls as we both fell back into
his bed. Zac stayed in Texas with me and plans of opening a new bookstore in the city.

Story line:
Eighteen-year old Max Hall's normal life no longer exists when she saw her sister Allie, brutally murdered by four Mexican Cartel boys in the Texan desert. She was a junior Olympic sharpshooter and kills three of them. One got away and she became obsessed on vengeance for her Allie's life.
Twenty-year old Zac allows Max to stay at his home in the bookstore when she walked into his factatious Uncle's bordering house looking for a room for a night. She had no money, just one bag and dressed like clapper from nineteen-twenty eras but she could sing. He will discover her true reason for coming to New York.
Final line:
“More?”
“Always” and I obliged with the sinking of my hands into his golden curls as we both fell back into
his bed. Zac stayed in Texas with me and plans of opening a new bookstore in
the city.

I stopped, because I didn't want to end up hating my story. I'm happy with where it's going, and intend to resume writing next weekend.

Story: After the Jump
Plot: Kelly Landers, perpetual new girl, has moved six times in as many years. As she starts her senior year in a new private school, all she wants is to put her past behind her but she quickly discovers that the one thing you cannot escape is yourself.
Day 25 Wordcount: 57,667
Day 25 Teaser: "He loves this car. Like, if it wasn’t completely vile and probably against the law, I think he’d really love it."
Day 26 Wordcount: 62,906
Day 26 Teaser: The funny thing is, she’s completely serious. She's just standing there shaking her head and looking at me as if I’m the deranged one, as if I’m the one making everybody walk on eggshells and hold their tongues or rethink every word before it comes out of their mouths.
Day 27 Wordcount: 64,112
Day 27 Teaser: "I know I shouldn’t care. I mean, I keep telling myself that I shouldn’t care and I must be crazy to even want anything that might mean you end up with him but I don’t want you to suffer anymore."
Day 28 Wordcount: 68,756
Day 28 Teaser: He leaves a string of soft kisses on my cheek, one after another, until our mouths meet. The sense of relief almost overwhelms me and there’s something else mixed in alongside the satisfaction and desire that I can’t quite put my finger on.
Day 29 Wordcount: 70,487
Day 29 Teaser: Moving here was supposed make everything better for all of us. And now it just feels like my life is stuck in some horrible, endless loop, all of my mistakes and poor choices on heavy rotation with no way out of it.
Day 30 Wordcount: 100,011 (Henceforth known as The Day of Epic Achievement)
Day 30 Teaser: "I’m not an idiot, I understand life is not always black and white but sometimes it should be. Sometimes the right thing to do is painfully obvious and you just have to decide whether or not you’re brave enough to do it."

NaNo Name: Tangynt
Only teaser lol: Jay could feel the Bloods moving across the grass, invading his territory, drawing closer to his home, and the repulsive sense of being violated twisted violently in his gut. “You’re trespassing.” The words clawed their way up his throat, his jaw tight and his teeth clenched.
