Have a love of Middle Grade books? Come be inspired while inspiring others!
It's great being a Young Adult writer, isn't it? But some YA writers, like yourselves, choose to explore other arenas of the KidLit world, including Middle Grade. So here, in our fabulous MG Lair, we'll explore what makes those tween years of pre/post puberty infamous and memorable all at the same time. (Ages 8 -12; grades 3 - 6.)
Some of our agents are now taking submissions for Middle Grade. YAY! So keep that in mind. Please visit our First Pages, Pimp My Scene, Query Kick Around, & Synopsis Repair Groups just as you would for any YA manuscript you might have written. Shine those manuscripts up!!

Comment by Patrice Caldwell on November 12, 2012 at 1:56pm Going over to Writer's Alley now...I've been busy editing and querying one of my YA manuscripts

I'll come over to say hi to Darby, Sheri. Sorry I missed your birthday, Beverly; I've been on the go for a few days and am falling behind in all the important things, like, checking in here to see what's going on.

Our very own Darby Karchut is up on Writer's Alley, today!! It would be great if you stopped by and showed her some YAlitchat support! http://bit.ly/TEko57
Thanks so much!

Okay, everyone. Seems we're lacking a bit of action in this group. Sorry I've been a tad MIA. I had surgery - which I'm in my 6th and hopefully final week of recovery. Go to the doctor's on Friday, where she should release me. Yay! I've also been working on the edits my agent sent me for my YA novel. Completed those and sent them to here last Tuesday!
What are you up to?
