I have a little bit of news myself. A rather lengthy excerpt of my novel HOME BASE, which was a submission of the month in Submissions Mailbox a year or so ago, was accepted for publication  in CRICKET MAGAZINE.

 

I'm pretty excited about this, because I've never been published in CRICKET before. I remember reading it in my elementary school library many, many years ago. I actually submitted it to CICADA, a YA journal, but the editor passed it on to the CRICKET editors. So now I'm having a little bit of an identity crisis. Am I an MG writer or a YA writer??!!  Or both?!
