You're always excited when it comes to YALitChat! That's what made it a success.
Those supplies are much needed and appreciated by teachers. I can do a little promo on #ntchat if you'd like. I've been their guest and once in a while I jump in to say hi, then after last Wed. chat more teachers know of us. They might just want to become a part of YaLitChat if they see how they can use us in their classrooms, get supplies and even some financial help with the grant that's coming out in Sept.

I just quit my job and started a program to become a high school chemistry and math teacher. Can I mention this to the 28 people in my class. It is a mixture of future language arts, math, social studies, science, music and geography teachers. Plus there is one future librarian. Folks expect to graduate in 2013.
Thanks,
Andrea

Did everyone send a request for classroom/school supplies? They are going out tomorrow! No more until next semester! Last call! Send request with full name, school address and grade to inquiries@yalitchat.org.

Permalink Reply by Karla Duff on October 6, 2011 at 12:05am I would love to receive MG and YA books for my classroom. I teach 6-8th grade so both levels are read.
Thanks for this reading opportunity! When possible, the books will be reviewed and put on blogs and/or Twitter by myself or my students.

Permalink Reply by Sandi B. Jones on November 8, 2011 at 8:28pm I'm a high school librarian for grades 8-12. YA or MG--doesn't matter, since I have both. ARCs would be great! My students blog and review on Goodreads. Thank you!

Permalink Reply by Angie Fisher on November 9, 2011 at 9:47am I'd love to be a part of this. I teach middle school, so YA is best for me. Angie Fisher.
