Looking for beta reader for first 5 chapters of a YA Contemp
Hi fellow Crit Seekers
I'm after some help with the first 5 Chapters of my YA Contemp; Lucy in the Sky.
I'm trying to get them polished to send off to a publishers next week (eep) if you have some spare time this week please let me know.
Synopsis
LUCY TAYLOR is broken. Her older brother is dead, drowned. Everything inside her wants to scream. The water that used to be her solace seems to surround her and she is stuck, trapped in this tiny coastal town, water lapping at her door.
Swimming defined Lucy, she breathed with it, the rhythms of the water echoed through her lungs. Now it and everything connected to it needs to go. Lucy can’t look at the water without seeing her brother, without imaging his last breaths. She wants him back but the sea took him and held on.
