Hi everyone!

My name is Rachel and I'm fairly new to the entire blogging game. My blog only has a few posts, but I can also be found at Twitter @thelifeofwords!

It's great to meet you!
Hi all,

I'm Lisa, the YA Director for Enchanting Reviews/Enchanting YA. We've moved to strictly a blog format this year, we're now at enchantingya.blogspot.com

Great to find some fellow YA Bloggers :)
I'm Lori and I love to read, write and run. :) My blog is called Just Bookin' Around and you can find it here: http://justbookinaround.blogspot.com/. Be sure to click on the "March Giveaway" link at the top to enter into the drawing for a free book. :)
Hi all,

Some of you know me and other I hope to get to know! I'm Angela Ackerman of The Bookshelf Muse, a blog dedicated to writers with a special emphasis on DESCRIPTION. I have created many thesaurus collections that center on difficult-to-describe areas of writing. Currently I have:

The Emotion Thesaurus, which shows over 40 core emotions and the corresponding ways a character might physically show these emotions.

The Setting Thesaurus, which shows the sights, smells, sounds, tastes and touch associated with the most common settings found in books.

The Colors, Textures and Shapes Thesaurus, which looks at the most notable in these categories used in writing, and shares real examples found in the world around us for comparison and contrast.

The Symbolism Thesaurus, which takes the most common themes and ideas the writer needs to get across, and lists out symbolic description choices to get your meaning across to the reader.

I hope these tools will help you with your writing. We're all in this together, right? :-)
Awesome! I entered your drawing. Great reviews, BTW!

Hello. I'm Lucy Coats, a UK author of children's and YA fiction with 25 years experience of the publishing business from both sides of the fence. I blog at SCRIBBLE CITY CENTRAL, where I have my useful (if a little eccentric) Writing 101 Productions which give helpful hints and tips to writers. I've got a fab competition running there at the moment (see post below), and I'm planning a series of Mythic Interviews with famous authors and others from April 1st. Please do pull up a keyboard and pop on by. Lucy
Howdy,

My blog focuses on teen issues, writing, books, movies, my novels, book tour information, contest and soon I'll be recruiting teens to guest on my site and put their book reviews. My blog LM Preston YA Sci Fi Writer and I'm on twitter.
Hi everyone! It's nice to see a few faces I recognize & some new ones! I'm Mel from He Followed Me Home. I love reading & have eclectic taste but found myself always gravitating towards YA so this year I decided to focus the blog & my challenges on YA. On the blog you'll find reviews, memes, giveaways, interviews & the odd guest post. I also contribute to YA Roundup and Book Lovers Inc (where I am in charge of the Wednesday YA posts). My other hangout is twitter http://twitter.com/hefollowedme.

Outside the blogosphere, I'm a mom to 2 boys & work full time in the financial industry. Oh and I'm Canadian!

Come by & say hi, I don't bite :)
Mel, Welcome!! I'll check you out on Twitter. You can find me there @SherWordsGirl. My blog is http://writersally.blogspot.com. It's wonderful to have you here. :)

Hi everyone - I have a relatively new blog and as far as I know, no followers. :( I'm attempting a Friday piece called Friday Flashback, where I share a picture from HS and relive some memories in hopes of fueling the YA creative process. I also intermittently blog about anything else that inspires me or is funny. I love making fun of myself. Please join me at The Daily Harrell: http://jessieharrell.livejournal.com (And for starters, maybe I should figure out how to use the hyperlink key. I bet all good bloggers know how to do that.)

I'm also on Twitter, cleverly calling myself @jessieharrell and I'm moderating the First Five Pages group. Was thinking this am that I just didn't know what to do about my blog when I realize, voila - YALitChat can help. Who has suggestions for building readership in the blogosphere? Please share with me! :)
Jess, it's wonderful to have you in the boggingsphere. I'd find reliable blogs to follow and then start commenting. It's amazing the people you will meet. That's how I met Candyland, and frankly we've become pretty good friends. The support is amazing. I find following someone sometimes leads them to follow you, too. Best of luck. I'll check it out.
