I'm at 27,008 tonight. I wrote 1,996 today.

Snippet: Sterling said nothing, but looked like he might ship Yates out to the crazy farm in a small box with a C.O.D.
Horrible cold slowed me down today. Not much good as far as snippets.

WC: 28,690
Today's Count: 1682

Snippet: Working for the CIA was terrifying, especially when you might lose your friends and colleagues at any moment.
meh. bad day. sick kid. blah blah bah.

today: 969

no real worthy snippet. I'll hit you tomorrow.
Oh, I had a horrible day at this. Not feeling it today had to squeeze out words. Today's number 31023 ( alittle over 1K)

Here's a snippet:
A long sword sliced downward toward her, she bowed backward and flipped up to land a kick on the face of a masked man. Then did a split, pulled out her knife and threw it into the neck of the sword handler.
Book prizes are: Ascendent by Diana Depeterfreund, Huntress (ARC) by Malinda Lo and Crusade by Nancy Holder.
Today: 1,361

Snippet: “I told you,” she said. This time exasperated with me instead of the other way around. “That girl ain’t good. She wants your soul and she will use any means to take it.”
Good day today!
2,063 words.
Snippet: Did this guy go to their school, she wondered? He was certainly no jock—well, maybe a pole-vaulter or... More like the Tarot Card Club type.
I'm almost there and have nano overload.

Only up to 31563 words - only a stinking 500 words today. Work wore me out and fam too :-D

Here's my snippet:
She fought to keep her eyes closed. The desire to lay eyes on the one that more than likely attempted to kill her family gnawed at her.
Hey all

Todays words a mere 2000
Current Nano Total - 48000
With some luck I should hit 50k tomorrow but I will be working hard until nano ends and aiming for around 90k
Thing is, when I edit I usually add words (things like senses, emotions and back story where required) so I am thinking I have about 20% more here than my actual word count. 90k seems so very far away now....

Snippet:
Gavriel knew she was there. He had his back to Evie and tears pricked her eyes. The wounds were still red and raw. And white where splintered bone stuck out like icy thorns. Just a few hours had passed and already there were definite signs of healing. Congealed blood crusted the edges of the wounds surrounding the staring bones where those magnificent wings had once joined with his body.

A bit rough, but there it is

Love reading everyones snippets. Keep going y'all!
cheers
Tee
nanowrimo idea girl consulting, grammy's magic cottage, 55284 words rough draft uploaded and completed contest,

An ancient prophecy affects Rod, Daniel and Samuel Jenkins after they visit the land of magic and find fairies, dragons and giants. Yet nothing prepares them for what happens next in Grammy’s cottage where magic that is fun ends up being dangerous. The dark form wants a sacrifice and one of the children must die in order for his kingdom to reign over the promised fairy land. Giant Damien befriends Samuel Jenkins and helps him on his quest to find his mother and conquer the dark form before he takes over magic land. However there is one problem Bruno and Sasha also want to rule the dark kingdom and they are planning to kill the dark form after a child dies.
Yay, good day so far. Got 1,965 words.
My snippet: Wilson gave her a look, as if she was in on it. It almost looked as if he was wearing dark kohl around his eyes, already intense enough in their darkness. “My brother’s just a twerp,” Wilson spat, “so don’t worry about it. I put him in his place.”
I'm still struggling with that awful cold, and had to take a day off yesterday. Been on cold meds, so what I've been writing is pretty bad. Still I forced myself to make it to 30k today.

Written Today: 1494
Word Count: 30184

Snippet: “If the Misfits are the only unit that really works together as a team, then wouldn’t that make everyone else the misfits? Not really fitting in anywhere - always going it alone? Never knowing who they could trust?”
