I am really excited about finding this group! I learned about you from a newsletter that I receive from ICL. I have a YA novel that I would like to enter. Right now it is with an agent and I hope to hear from her soon. It has been eight weeks and she said it would take 8-12 weeks. I am at the pulling hair and nail biting stage. Did I rsvp? I thought I did when I found my way to this site. Confusion right now is my regular state. I am writing a sequel to the book the agent has as well as another YA geared towards the "boy lit" instead of "chick lit". I have also started a controversial adult novel that took me an entire year to research. It is very difficult to jump from one to the other. But I have found that if I get to one point in a nove and have writer's block, If I work on another the block usually breaks. I don't know if anyone else works this way, but for me it has proven usefull.
