Wow... thanks for the guide.... you are a really thoughtful person...

I would've never found all of that stuff... thanks!
Hi everyone, so glad to have found this YA community. I am sure I will learn a lot from all of you. I am a novice writer, hoping for the chance to get my 2 ideas realized in 2 published books. It's a long road a head, but am enjoying the process, and hoping to find more time to write as it's what I like to do.

Look forward to the YA chats on twitter and to exploring this site further!
Thanks for the warm welcome from everyone. It's really nice to find a place where others can understand the frustration that comes along with the writing process. Forgive me if I tend to hoover for a while. I'd like to read what everyone has to say.

Ann
you and I both. I like to lurk and soak it all in :)

I wanted to welcome everyone and I hope to get to know you through meet and greet. Post there and let us know a bit about you. Don't be shy. We don't bite.
Hey Everyone! Great to be here!
I attend the ICL as well and learned of this site through the news letter. I'm in the middle of two YA novels at the moment, taking classes at the ICL, and working 40 hours a week at a local college. If I having started pulling my hair out by the roots yet it's not for lack of work overload. I'm hoping to have the first novel ready to go to agents by summer.
Thanks! No worries. There is SOOOO much going on here that it's necessary. I will update it when I get some more time. Having an intern will help LOADS.

Hi everyone! I'm Katie. I'm the founder of Mundie Moms. I found out about about YaLitChat from some author friends of ours and Georgia. I'm glad we're finally here. We're looking forward to chatting with everyone about books!
Rockin'. And you guys should know this is the secondary welcome/intro thread. The REAL intro thread is Meet and Greet! But welcome anyway! WELCOME!!!!!
Opps. Sorry. :) I'll go post over there. lol
Hi everyone, I am so pleased to find this community of YA writers and aspiring writers. I am working on a book right now that is very challenging for me. Am not a published author yet, but hoping to be one soon and so far am enjoying the process. I love YAlitchat on Twitter and thinks it's so great that we have so much energy in skilled and giving people like Georgie McBride, who can really rally and organise us, so to speak.

I look forward to developing my writing skills and I think joining this group is a solid step towards fufilling my dream.

Look forward to hearing what everyone is working on and whatever you want to share.

Best wishes
