Please help. I need an intern willing to work 10-15 hours/week.
I do lots of stuff most of which can be found on my blog at http://georgiamcbridebooks.com
I need someone who is a fast learner, not easily intimidated, able to work with people at all levels, well-educated/well-spoken, focused and able to multi-tasked.
You MUST be tech savvy. You absolutely must know you way around a computer. No Macs please.
Facebook, twitter, wordpress, blogger are MUSTS. You must use it and know how to use it well. I do not have time to teach you how to use it. You cannot be in the process of learning or someone who "always wanted to learn" and figures this is the perfect opportunity to start.
You must be a memebr of YALITCHAT. You must know the ins and outs of the Ning community and chat with us on Wednesday nights. No exceptions.
You must be able to tolerate me. I am hard on interns. I have a lot of projects. I burn people out. I'm like the energizer bunny. Many people cannot handle that. Can you?
I have my personal author blog http://georgiamcbride.com which is like a graveyard since I have no book out.
I have my publishing biz blog http://georgiamcbridebooks.wordpress.com
theya5.blogspot.com is my team blog of which I am the founder. We relaunch in July.

yalitchat.wordpress.com open online site for yalitchat
yalitchat.ning.com - here
I write books and screenplays. I have to update 4 blogs plus keep content on the ning site fresh. I also have to keep my fb page fresh without a book out. Grrr.
I have to keep chats fresh weekly with hot topics and blog about it before and sometimes after the chat.
I have to manage the YA-5 blog team, keep them motivated and happy. Keep the site running smoothly and keep traffic up.
I have to keep 1600 members here happy. YEAH. Now with the creation of the non-profit, I have to keep the IRS and federal government happy. YEAH.
Of course, I have to WRITE. Find an agent. Write some more. Find an agent. Edit.
I have to critique. Edit. Other people's books.
I have agents that I vet material for. Have to make them happy.
Notice a pattern here?
This is what I do.
Who wants to be my intern?????

If you'll take a 15 year old who knows a lot about Facebook, Twitter and Wordpress, and for the summer has quite a bit of time on her hands (apart from my own book review blog), I would be interested in being your intern.
You didn't state if I needed to actually physically come - so if this is an online intern I can do that.
Thanks,
Jean
