I've noticed a few of our members (myself included) are participating in next month's novel writing frenzy other wise known as NaNoWriMo.

I thought I'd take this opportunity to create a little spot where we can come and post our links to our author's pages that way we can "buddy" each other and more importantly be an area where we can come to garner support and rally ourselves when our fingers feel like they might fall off from all that typing!

So I raise my glass (I mean bag o' Twizzlers to you) and wish us all word vomit!

I'm over 20K now, working on it over the weekend and I'm sooooo sleepy. I tend to write skinny so I'll finish up just under 50K I bet.

Wish I'd seen the threads on NaNo here earlier. That's what I get for not getting on the web site very often right now. This year I'm not writing YA, instead going for epic fantasy. After 13 days I have 50,055 words. I was trying to get to 50k as fast as I could to see if I could do better than my last attempt in March (which was 50k in 15 days) and I succeeded in reaching a new record. Going to try and get to 100k by the end of the month.

Had a rough week last week - but I manged to get in over 4k words last night. I'm off to try and pull that same number tonight. :)

I did 1,807 words today, even though I was in a car on the highway (a passenger, of course).

I am struggling this week and have to leave town Wednesday for T-giving. I have a feeling I may not finish NaNo this year. Made it past 30K but now stagnating. I did try a new genre this year and think it may be out of my league. Back to YA! :)

I could definitely use two more weeks. My brain is frozen and everything I write seems to need me to hit the delete button. UGH! Heading on vaca for TurkeyDay doesn't help one bit.

There are 7 days left in NaNoWriMo 2010, some of you have done a fantastic job and others like myself took on maybe a little too much and had to bow our heads in defeat. Could I write 42,000 words in seven days? Ok, maybe I haven't given up yet.

Here is a fantastic post on editing that newly written, rough as hell first draft. First of all remember to congratulate yourself on either finishing or not giving up the fight.

OK, I am still going ! I made it past 33K today. Have to drive to Ohio in 6 hours and I want to keep writing! Dont want to stop the flow! Am I nuts? :)
I will be stealing time on the laptop during the family visit. Might even come home a day early just cause...
