YALitchat was created as an arena for YA writers and readers. Here, we offer authors the opportunity to mingle with their peers, discuss YA issues - both having to do with the YA life, writing, & publishing - and give the opportunity to get critiques on their work, moving them closer to publishing their stories. For readers, especially teen readers, we have a group that solely reads and give their opinions.

Hi everyone, I am so excited I found YALITCHAT. I absolutely love YA.

I have always wanted to be a writer and I am working hard to make that dream come true. I have recently completed a YA epic fantasy containing angels, demons, the wickedest of witches and a kick butt princess. I have started querying and received a few rejections so far, and I want to go over it one more time before I get into serious querying. The one thing I'm lacking is a critique partner, which is one of the reasons I joined here.

I write a lot, and I have also written a YA contemporary romance, and a fantasy (parallel worlds)  romance that I had completed and have now decided needs some major rewrites. I also have plans to write a MG series.

I look forward to getting to know you guys.
