Hi, I'm Beth Fred. I’m an avid reader and aspiring writer of young adult fiction. I like the endless possibilities offered in the modern teen fiction novel; and I love the impossible strand woven into what would otherwise be the dullness of reality. Truth is sometimes stranger than fiction and I think the current “wave” of young adult fiction adequately portrays this.

I started my blog beth-project52.blogspot.com as a project to improve my writing. It requires that I read 52 books I've never previously read in the 52 weeks of 2010. I've learned a lot so far and it didn't take me long to realize my love is for YA fiction. I enjoy blogging, so when the year ends I'll probably keep a personal blog.
Hi Jessie!
Love your personal blog - and your collaborative group blog has great taste! :)
I added myself as a follower and on Twitter too - thanks for the welcome...I'm looking forward to all the great discussions, connections, and endless amounts of encouragement from everyone here.

Hi Erin! Welcome. You have the same cool blog template as the collaborative blog I'm a part of - Oasis for YA http://oasisforya.blogspot.com
I also have a personal blog: http://jessie-harrell.blogspot.com (I've been known to review a book or 2 myself)

Hi everyone!

I'm an aspiring Young Adult Urban Fantasy author with a passion for reading anything I can get my hands on! I love to write reviews of everything I've read - and I post my reviews on my blog, A Little of This & That.

So take a seat, kick up your feet, and come check out my blog, my reviews, and see a little of this and that about my writing too! And feel free to follow, if you like what you see!

I can also be found on Twitter, as well!

I'm open to any comments / feedback - so let me know what you think?

Thanks everyone!

Hello everyone! I just started my blog... http://whatsonthebookshelf-jen.blogspot.com/ It's primarily YA.

I'd love to start some contests and give aways, but need more followers to do that! I'm also on Twitter @jenduffey and Good Reads. I'm doing reviews, but also just about anything that comes to mind.

Hope you will take a chance to check it out.

Thanks everyone!
I'm Celise, the YA author over at www.celisedowns.com. I blog about writing, school, and life in general. I also participate in YA Highway's "Road Trip Wednesdays" and the weekly word prompts at Sunday Scribblings. Feel free to stop by.

Hi all,

I'm a writer and I have a blog called The Write Game at http://writegame.blogspot.com This summer I turned over my blog to debut writers and it's been great to see their covers, to hear their stories about being published and to read their advice to others still looking for that break. They've all offered great contests and I almost hate to see this series end.

I live in California in a forest where my visitors are mostly the four legged kind. I write YA and MG, but the only books I've published so far are YA.

Also I'm a moderator over at The Expert Group, so if you have an area of expertise or need to ask an Expert a question to help you write a scene, come and join us. I look forward to knowing you here on YALitChat.
Hi y'all! I'm Mary and I have a new blog (a bit over a month old) called The Book Swarm: http://bookswarm.blogspot.com. It's mainly YA, with a bit of an eclectic mix thrown in for fun (some travel, health, and whatever else catches my fancy!). When school starts up, I'm going to be posting student reviews as well. I'm pretty excited about it all!

I love to support writers and, besides reading your book (of course!), I'd be thrilled to interview you on my blog. Please feel free to contact me if you're interested: mbrebner@hotmail.com. :)

When I'm not playing with my blog designs, I'm an 8th grade English teacher (my students participate in the Teen Reviews here), a newbie book blogger (veteran reader!), and YA writer. Originally from Chicagoland, I'm a Southern transplant, mostly because I'd rather be warm than freezing my patootie off.

You can also find me procrastinating on Twitter: @marybrebner or over at GoodReads (Yeah, I'm Mary Brebner there, too! May as well stick with what works, you know?). I love to visit with new, interesting people. Stop on by and say hi!
Hello, all. I'm Lisa and my blog is http://virginsheets.blogspot.com. I just started blogging in July but I'm enjoying it and
meeting a lot of great people. Now that I'm officially a member of yalitchat, I can't wait to meet those of you I haven't
connected with already through the blog or on Twitter (@LisaMPotts)

I am a writer of YA, a single Mom of a teen and tween, an animal lover, and I covet all things chocolate.
Greetings from Ghost Horse Prairie Ranch! I blog on my Web site for the fans of Ghost Horse Hollow, a fantasy realm set in the Appalachian woodlands one hundred years in the future. Think Harry Potter meets the Waltons ... on horseback! www.ghosthorsehollow.com I also have a blogspot page for Ghost Horse Hollow, where I write about conservation, creativity, and magic. http://ghosthorsehollow.blogspot.com/2010/09/creating-character.htm... This is my latest blog on creating the character of Panther MacKennon. My blogs are usually brief with lots of pictures. I love new followers and am very thankful for the support from YAlitchat!

I work on a horse farm in central Montana, near the old ghost town of Valentine. Our horses are featured in the book series The Fairy Lore of Ghost Horse Hollow. Many of the stallions and mares are pale gold or cream with blue eyes. Their bloodlines are quite old, dating back to the Civil War. I love swimming and gardening and pottery. Please visit my Web site to see the ranch and meet the remarkable ponies! To see them galloping across the prairie, drop by our Youtube channel at: www.youtube.com/GhostHorseHollow. We have also posted samples from The Holly King, the first novel in the adventure series.
Welcome to YALitChat, Lisa and Anne. Look forward to seeing you around the different groups. You might check out the Experts. They are a great resource and we are always looking for more experts.
