Since our fabulous Experts are a featured group this week when I read the article in the SCBWI Bulletin yesterday I thought this would be the perfect time to share what it contained . . . just in case some of you missed it.

First, it asked, "If you need an expert. Where do you turn?" *Waves and jumps up and down, then shouts, "YALitChat!"*

But serrriously. Jane McBride Choate, the author, gave us some great links, so here are a few and if you have the Mar-Apr Bulletin, the rest are on page 17.

I'm thinking of writing an article about YALitChat Experts and the resource writers could have here if they joined our community.

Happy research.

Thanks for sharing, Lee. I think writing that article is a GREAT idea. Not simply because it supports YAlitchat but because it encourages writers to see themselves as MORE than just writers. It encourages us to look within ourselves and wealth of experience to help one another not only write better but engage about topics we probably don't get to very often (especially not with writer-types). I think looking for experts withing our own community is such a refreshing idea and just another way that we can be there for one another.

Three cheers for you!
You're absolutely right. There's so often I turn to my other writer friends for help with areas I'm not familiar with. Now I have 45 new Experts in my life. How great is that?
